Tributes Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the couple.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he just recently felt ready to post publicly about his deep grief.

"Enough time has gone by that I can finally express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started spending more time together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the production, commenting that he cannot recall "one day without joy".

"This story is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Values that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes expressed.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I recall you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate essay, revered director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was very funny and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he comprehended the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Restricted

Recently, a Los Angeles superior court judge decided to prevent the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, after an appeal from the local authorities.

A court order issued a security hold on the files to limit the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a official listing listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

In the wake of the killings, public personalities expressed divergent reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, providing controversial statements that were met with immediate backlash by many individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his criticism to the critics last week. Talking on his program, Rogan labeled the comments as "disappointing" and suggested they showed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan ended by proposing that an adviser should have intervened when the decision to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
